Belly update
Hey guys, long time no update wasn't me huh?
Just to put things right, my weight is down to 70.5 ~ 70.9 Kgs with 14.4 ~ 15.8 body fat percentage. Very proud to say I'm gettin thinner!! Anyway my belly is still in a long way to go (it is not as easy to flatten your belly)
Anyway, I was wearing 32 inches jeans but now I am challenging 29 inches one !!
Here is 140$ Japanese bell bottom jeans, just love it. I am the one who not dare to wear narrow/skinny cut since my leg is big (if you ran 3 days a week with 70 kgs body, you may have that leg I guess)

BMI update
It's been a while I am leaving this Blog with no updated.
I used around 9000 yen of my bic camera point for this body-scan scale. Incredibly, it can scan your body fat percentage (skin fat and inner fat).
Last 2 posts I reported my weight and it was 75. Now I am around 73.8 ~ 74.4 kgs with BMI 23.8 and 17% body fat.
My goal is to have only 1 digit body fat percentage and below BMI 22, hopefully

Weight Update
I was a bit happy after I knew my weight. To keep a record, just wanna put it here
May 23, 2008 : 75 Kilograms (165 lbs), and note that I am 178 cm (5' 11") tall
I think I was around 80 last winter (3-4 months ago), happy that my exercise did work!!
from this link http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/height_weight.shtml
I found that I should weight 160 lbs (or 2.5 kgs less than my current weight). If I just took of my clothes it would be around that point, I guess.
For the Body Mass Index (BMI) i got 23.724 where 18.5 – 24.9 is normal, I found myself a bit happy now after a big fat burning and low carb festival. But ... wait, that was not a reference for Asians !! By checking another website I am still overweight !!
[Quote] "The range for acceptable, normal, or optimum body-mass index (BMI) for Asian populations should be narrowed to 18.5-23 kg/m2, according to a WHO expert consultation on appropriate BMI for these populations that took place on July 8-11 in Singapore"
By simply calculated: Weight / Height^2. My BMI is 23.671. OMG!! more 3 kilos to go !!
Farewell to potato chips and beer !!

Japanese Insurance
Hell yeah !! let's change from the calm and relax post to more "serious" talk. Well, this is my PURE opinion and I don't mean to offense anyone of you.
"Who will pay for you when you were sick??", yes seriously. For example, kids will get paid by their parent. Adults pay by themselves. What about elderlies? If they don't have any help from their children, the only source they can rely on is nothing but health insurance I guess.
It is very clear that the "health service" in each country are different. In Japan, as I wrote, you have to pay around 900 - 3000 yen (depends on your income status) in order to join the health insurance system. (It is said that) The system will cover 80% of fees and charges at clinic and hospital you visit and most of the people are using this system (so the government can get really huge amount of money each month, I guess). The people who enjoy most profit are, of course, oldies. Because they can not work, they pay less insurance charge, and they get into the hospital often.
Recently in Japan, there is a problem on delivering the new "Health Insurance Card " to some people occurred. And some can not use their right at any health service. There are a group who considered that the new system is designed to abandon the elderlies (Right, the most unprofitable). It ends up with old people demo in front of the government building !! can you believe this !!
Japanese media (I would like to call them BASTARDs !!) are beginning to load all protesters "clips" to provoke people. The word like "This means you'd like us to die quickly" come up many time as I can see on TV. In my opinion, it might be that the natural of Japanese is that they think more than they talk. So the word that come out from their mouth is considerably "very concentrated" and might lead to the other implications.
From this point of view, it let me think about Japanese society at the whole (compare to Thailand). Japanese men are working hard, always back home at 9 pm or later. Women's duty is to take care of the house, cleaning, raising children. I think they are probably very busy as they do not have much time to look back their own family. What about their parents?? Unfortunately they have to take care themselves!!
Around Tokyo, I can see oldsters walking around or even working. They have to take care themselves for the most of time. Oh .. and don't think that they die fast, Japanese have the longest average life expectancy in the world. In smaller picture, youngsters work, pay tax but oldies have their pension, as they work hard through out their life. Some might consider that old people are cheating on worker ages. But just think about this, Japanese who is in their 60 - 80s lived the hardest condition in the post-war era and you can see how Japan develop revive from ashes. They might indeed have to rest.
If I were a young Japanese boy, I would be very confusing with such kind of problem like this. The main reason is that "I can not feel what those old chaps are feeling". They lived in pain but ... is there something to do about me?? This might answer the question why Japanese kids hate their parent very easily. They don't have time to take care of anything!! just work and sleep like machines!!
I don't know how to give the right solution for this. The fist thing that came up in my mind was "okay people ... just stop working too much ... give more time to your family and parents". In Thailand, work end at 6 pm and that's it. You can get back, have a nice meal with your children and have a good talk.
I have very negative feeling about Japanese family, I think work and stress are ruining their family relationship. What do you think? please leave me some comment.

My all time favourite song
Here is again, my favorite song of all time.
The theme is about "What ever you were, I will always love you" and that's it. If your partner was a hooker, will you love her ?? That's is what the video is telling.
This song also being used as OST in "Bedside Detective" a Thai drama comedy movie. The story was about a love affair detective and a very cute kept woman. No more words, here we go
You don't have to say, How your days (Wun) were
You don't have to tell me (Chun), About whom ever you were with
If I have missed (Ploei), If I asked you
You do not have to answer (Tob) me at all
Me (Chun), this person, also has mistakes
I am not a person who always have a perfect life (Che-wit)
I am also don't want to be asked (Taam), It just nothing
It is not important (Jum-pen) for us
[Part-A]
Yesterdays (Wun-waan) cannot be returned, and, we don't know what it will be tomorrow (Wan-prung-nee)
But I am ready (Prom), to be here, to die for our love (Ruk)
[End Part-A]
[Part-B]
Who every you (Ther) were, what every you faced (Paan)
Don't worry (Gung-won) about your past, I all am yours
Whatever will happen from now, I will take care (Duu-lae) of you
With love (Ruk) and with my heart (Jai)
[End Part-B]
You don't have to say, How your days (Wun) were
You don't have to tell me (Chun), About whom ever you were with
Just tell me you love me, at ease (Ngai Ngai)
I just want your heart (Jai) to be mine
[Repeat-A] [Repeat-B+C] [Repeat-B+D]
[Part-C]
I will love (Ruk) only you
[Part-D]
I will always be beside (Kiang-kang) you
and always be your love forever (Ta-lod-pai)

At least: new song by my favorite band
Hi there,
I just found a very good song but ... it is in Thai. Okay ... it's a time for you to learn my mother tongue. I just made a quick translation and highlighted some keyword for you.
The song is called "Yaang noi" or in English "At least (I have ever loved you)" by my favorite rock band "Big Ass". It is originally from the movie soundtrack which called "Pid-term yai hua jai waa whun" (sort of school holiday love story). Some part of it actually filmed in my hometown of Chiang Mai and of course ... my school was in the scene !! Okay, no more spoilers, here we go ...
There is someone who defined that love is suffering (Kwan-tuk)
But for me it is different, I see love as happiness (Kwam-suk)
Sometimes it's tired (Nuai), someways it's hurt (Jeb)
But we always able to stand it with smile (Yim)
Perhaps we could fail (Pid-wang), but that's all right (Mai-pen-rai)
[**Verse]
At least (Yang-noi) I have once loved (Ruk) you (Ter)
Love (Ruk) without any wish
I know (Ruu) that I may not be the one
But I don't need (Tong-garn) any return
At least I could learn (Rean-ruu), I could get it (Kao-jai)
Every single minute (Naa-tee) that you are with me
Love (Ruk) is great happiness (Kwam-suk)
And it have abundant meaning (Kwam-maai) indeed
I beg to continue all my effort (Kwam-pa-yaa-yaam) for you
Only your smile (Yim) for me, my heart feel replenished (Chuen-jai)
If, in one day, you accept (Tok-long) it
I will be just enough
Perhaps we could fail (Pid-wang), but we are not regret (Sia-jai)
At least (Yang-noi) I have once loved (Ruk) you (Ter)
[Repeat at **Verse above]
How was it? Hope you enjoy the show

Another Friday
What will you do on Friday night? Well, I can really say that I have nothing to do on Friday night. The fact is, normally, I have to work at the restaurant on Sat morning and that dont let me go anywhere.
So what do I actually do! on Friday night. A lil'bit nerdy stuff like writing blog, watch TV, cooking and stuff. I am sure that even I wanna go somewhere, my friend would not have that free time. Actually I mean Thai friend (don't think about Japanese friend, their diligence is just incomparable).
I was once, be gone to Roppongi's Latino club with my Ecuadorian roommate. I just found a new theory that "Do not enter the Latino club unless you can DANCE!!". I can't dance and it's true. Or you guys wanna see Thai dance !! (with funny hands and stuff). Anyway thanks Javi to let me know another truth.
Well, there gonna be a Thai festival at Yoyogi-kouen this weekends. I will probably be ready for the party afterward. Party with Thais is very comfy (at least I know what they are talking). We just drink and talk shits. You know, anything can be fun amongst drunker.
I just missed my favorite club in Thailand, loud band music, old school friend and young chicks. Japanese just don't go to clubs if they are not in their 30s, I guess. All right, people, enjoy your goukon and isagaya culture !! damn it !
